The day everyone has been waiting finally came!
While most of us are still waiting for our copies or CD Keys, a very small part of our crew have already signed up and are currently playing!
To make it short, they settled on the East Cost Server : Stormrage, alliance side off course.
While I'm at it, I'd like to officialize our IRC Channel hosted by quakenet.org.
For those whom never used mIRC or any IRC Client, download the lastest mIRC version on mIRC.com, install and run it, enter a nickname, click on the red / yellow star, pick "Random QuakeNET server" in the IRC server list, then finally hit "Connect to server".
After a few lines of spam, the windows will stabilize. Close the "Favorite" windows that might pop'up, and type /join #zeal.
There you'll eventually end up with other people bored and waiting on their box, and you will be given instructions to register your name if you plan on using our channel often.

Aparently the Burning Legion invaded Azeroth in last hours of beta.

Who is the Burning Legion you ask?

The Burning Legion is a vast demonic army, created by the dark lord Sargeras for the sole purpose of draining the inherent magics of worlds and setting them to the flame. Azeroth is the only world to survive an attack by the Legion, and Sargeras' forces have waited 10,000 long years for another chance to feast on Azeroth's natural energies...
In the beginning there were Demons and Titans. Sargeras was a Titan assigned to stomp out the Demons...but after going mad, he wound up enslaving them into an army he named the Burning Legion. Sargeras corrupts a planet inhabited by Orcs, and they open a portal to Azeroth to attack. Later the orcs open more portals which tears apart their planet.
Which probably explains what you see at the account login screen when you first start up World of Warcraft. :D
I highly suggest checking out the Brief History of Warcraft if you havn't seen it yet. Its a good read.
