The initial and repeatable quest you can acquire is to gain improved reputation with the main base fighting for your side. Horde players will be told to kill Alliance players, and vice versa. After you collect the insignias of your fallen foes, you can bring them back to your base to increase your standing with your side.
As you improve your reputation, you'll gain a special trinket, which gets replaced by a more powerful version each time your reputation rank jumps up a category, such as from honored to revered. Reputation can also be improved through questing, of course. Improving your reputation will be very important because many of the best abilities for use in Battlegrounds, such as calling cavalry charges and air strikes, can only be done by players with very high reputation.

aid instances are buggled! Posted by Harp - Fri 07 Jan, 2005 09:32 AM EST After having heard lots of rumors about the power of Onyxias guard mobs we decided to go visit with a small raid. We had been poking our noses around there the last few days and thought we would be able to maybe take the guards down with our combined strength.
Instead of learning anything about the power of the guards we learned that raid instances are bugged. We all got our private and personal instance to visit and I am quite certain that no one in our raidgroup had participated in any slaying of Onyxia the last week or so.
I hope that Blizzard fixes this apparent bug pretty fast. I know they mentioned something about this problem being fixed with the launch patch but apparently they were not telling the truth.
nyxia keys, work work Posted by Harp - Wed 05 Jan, 2005 08:19 AM EST These days we are somewhat casually farming for our keys Onyxias Lair. Lots of jolly fun raids in Blackrock spire leads us towards testing how tough this little dragon actually is.
he quest for ascension Posted by Harp - Sat 01 Jan, 2005 10:18 AM EST After a week or so of fairly hard labour farming the lower citadel of Blackrock Spire we finally finished our first seal of ascension. The droprate on the gems from Voone and Wyrmthalak was annoyingly low as we got zero gems in the first 20 or so kills on these mobs.
Upper Blackrock Spire is a rather enjoyable place to raid!
